Meet our pilot, David Litton.  He is a first grade teacher during the week and a balloon pilot on the weekends.  He began this ballooning adventure several years ago by serving as balloon crew for our local Carolina Balloon Festival.   He then began training as a pilot in 2017 and earned his commercial balloon pilot certificate in 2020.  When he is not in the air, he enjoys watching West Virginia University sports,  visiting National Parks and spending time with his family. 

Serving as crew chief is his wife, Candice.  She is a 1st grade teacher.  Candice also enjoys digital photography and will be happy to provide you with pictures of your flight free of charge.   

Our 3 children Abby (21),  Jenna (19) and Owen (15) also serve as our crew members.  Abby graduated from Lenoir Rhyne University in 2025 and is a 2nd grade teacher.   Jenna is a student at Mitchell Community College and  she is also a hot air balloon pilot.   Owen is a student and athlete at West Iredell High School.  We also have friends and family members that love to come out and crew for us.
